At the start of this year I was contacted by an incredibly generous lady who had read about my business in Country Living, she saw that my La Lune collection donates a portion of its profits to Tommy’s Charity in memory of Iver, my first son. This lady wanted to donate a silver necklace for me to recycle and use. I believe in the pay if forward ethos, when someone takes the time to do you a kind turn, pay it forward if you are able to and this is what I wanted to do with the donated necklace. So I have recycled some of the silver by melting it down and incorporating it into a very special one off La Lune pendant . A beautiful crescent moon pendant scattered with stars and nestled amongst the little stars is a sparkling salt and pepper diamond.
If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen me post about this pendant ages ago, it has been ready made for months now waiting for me to launch this giveaway, but fear has been making me press the pause button, fear of no-one entering or and the fear of asking for donations, but anyway I am biting the bullet. If you want to see more behind the scenes of the making of this pendant and the recycling of the original silver necklace I will be sharing more behind the scenes over on my Instagram page over the next couple of weeks.
If you would like this beautiful one of a kind pendant for yourself or to gift to someone special all you have to do is donate to Iver’s justgiving page which you can find via the Iver’s Story page on my website. That’s it, you don’t have to like, follow, share etc etc (but please do if you want to!) all you need to do is make a donation however big or small and help me continue to raise money for a charity working tirelessly to stop other people losing their baby and to support parents who have suffered loss. If you do not wish to enter but would like to support me in raising money in Iver’s memory then you can do so by sharing, sharing and sharing! Help me get the word out there, it is so appreciated! The giveaway ends at midnight on the 15th October, a poignant date as this day marks the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week 2021.
Entry details; When you enter please leave your Instagram handle or email address as a message on your donation so I know who has entered, if you would rather not leave those details on the donation page (these are viewable to the public) please forward your donation receipt to me at katewainwrightjewellery@gmail.com. The successful donater will be drawn at random from a virtual ‘pot’ of names.
